I've heard about a few upcoming deals that I want to share with you.
At
Target -- I've read in a couple of places -- but haven't seen the ad scan yet -- that Target will be running a deal with The Princess and The Frog movie release next Tuesday. You will get a free Princess and the Frog handbag with purchase of the DVD/Blu-Ray combo of the movie. That version of the movie will be price $26.99, but there will be a $10.00/1 Disney coupon available. I've written a few posts about the upcoming Disney movie coupons already and I'll make sure to post again when this coupon goes live over the weekend. No guarantees that this will be the best Princess and the Frog deal -- it's just the only one I know about at the moment. Toys R Us often has good deals on these releases too -- often with free toys. My advice? Keep a sharp eye out if you're interested. I don't know how great Target will be about having adequate supplies on hand, but I can testify from personal experience that Toys R Us very often only stocks a token number of their "free with movie purchase" items and they don't hand out rain checks.
Also at
Target -- The buy 2, get a $5.00 gift card deal with both Gillette Fusion and Venus razors is supposed to be back on next week. Get your coupons ready!
At Rite Aid -- for those searching for Easter candy (I'm buying lots to help supply an egg hunt) it seems like Rite Aid will be the place to be next week. They have their bags of Hershey's, Cadbury, and Reese's Easter Candy on sale for $1.99. Plus they have an in-ad coupon for $2.00/3 bags. PLUS if you managed to print the $2.00/3 manufacturer's coupon on SmartSource.com you can use that as well. Not to mention the usual array of $3/$15, $5/$20, and $5/$25 that are available to print. If your local Rite Aid allows you to use more than one of their in-flyer Hershey's coupons per transaction that could result in some almost-free candy. If not, it will certainly be by far the cheapest deal we've seen yet this year.
And finally, I've read multiple references this morning to a special ONE DAY ONLY diaper deal that's going to happen on 3/20 at both
Babies R Us and Toys R Us. Supposedly if you buy two boxes of the new Pampers Dry Max on that day - which is the "launch" day -- you will receive a $20 gift card. Seems almost too good to be true! And, of course, you can also use whatever Pampers coupons you might have to make the deal even better. As soon as I get more info, I will post it. However, for those in the diaper brigade, I would start looking extra hard for coupons and deals on Pampers Dry Max. If the "R" Us stores are doing something for the Pampers launch, other stores may jump on the bandwagon.
